1939 New York Bach model 25 Large Bore Bb Trumpet $3,200 plus shipping email us about this trumpet - admin@centex-brass.com This is a New York Stradivarius from the when Vincent Bach was still involved in the day to day operations of his shop. This trumpet was made in 1939. It has a model 25 bell, a #6 leadpipe and is large bore (.462). It is made of lighter weight brass than today's Bachs. This horn has been relacquered in the past and the valves appear to have been replated. The engraving is sharp on the bell flare with no signs of buffing, but the Bach stamp on the valve casing is worn. Matching serial numbers on the spring barrels, valve stems, and under the top caps. One patch under the third valve slide. 1st valve slide has been modified and a saddle added. Valve action and compression is very good. It has had a Reeves Precision Valve Alignment and a lifetime Reeves warranty comes with the horn. Comes with a newer style Bach case. Typical
of a good NY Bach, this horn is a great player.
