1972 Benge CG Bb trumpet SOLD email us about this trumpet - admin@centex-brass.com This is a 1972 Los Angeles Benge Claude Gordon model in excellent original condition. The CG model is a large bore (.468) Benge with a .464 choke on the bell. The later models have CG on the valve casing, but the early ones have an L for large bore with CG stamped on the bell ferrule as this one does. Has a lightweight bell. This trumpet is clean inside and out and the leadpipe is clean and clear; no signs of red rot. All slides are smooth.Original silver plating is excellent and engraving is sharp and clear. Valves are in excellent original condition with great compression. Comes with a original Benge two handled case in very condition. There are a few small dings, one on the bell tail and a couple in the bell, but no signs of any previous repairs. All around, one of the best orignal CG Benges to be found.
