This is a 1975 Schilke B6 Bb trumpet in good original condition. The B6 is a medium to medium large step-bore with a medium large bell. The B6 is widely used by commercial artists and other professionals and is the model that the Yamaha Shew models are based on. 1st slide saddle and 3rd slide fixed ring with stop screw. This trumpet is clean inside and out. Silver shows a few minor wear spots as shown, but no major bare patches or rough areas. Slides and valves are fast and smooth. Although made in the '70s, this is NOT in the 20xxx serial number series and does NOT have yamalloy valves. A few small nicks and bell shows some work from being slightly out of round, but no stretch marks. Comes with an older Schilke double case that shows wear but is still functional. Good used Schilkes are hard to find and this one is an excellent horn.
