This is a Bach Stradivarius Large Bore C trumpet.  It has a 229  Bell and a 25H leadpipe. Excellent for orchestral settings, its playability means it also excels in smaller settings, e.g. with organ accompaniment at churches. It has a singing tone at low volumes, and is focused and brilliant at high volumes. The valves have clean action, and the slides all move freely.

The silver plating is in excellent condition, with only one small sliver of wear on the side of the bell tube. This is shown in the last photo. The reflection on the silver makes this hard to spot but it is about 3/4 of an inch long and a 1/4 of an inch wide. Barely noticeable.  Other than that, plating shows no wear.

This trumpet has had a precision valve alignment performed by Alan Baer of the New York Philharmonic in the past year and plays very  evenly with great response.

This trumpet clean inside and out.  All slides are smooth.

Has 1st valve saddle  Valves are fast and compression is excellent.

Does not come with a case.
