This is a 1955 Blessing Artist trumpet in very good original condition. These are not as well known as the Super Artist, but share most of the same elements and this one is in excellent condition. The Super Artist is known as Clifford Brown's horn, but this Artist is essentially the same trumpet without a few trim elements. It shares the same .468 bore, which is a large bore, but a lot more goes into how a horn plays than the bore size. It also has the underslung third slide ring and tuning slide micro-tuner that are found on the Super Artist. This is a professional level horn and would be a great addition to a collection or for someone wanting a little change of pace. All slides are smooth. The valves are smooth and fast. Valve compression is good. Does not come with a case or mouthpiece.
